Gloucestershire’s Conservatives are running away from accountability. The 2025 local elections need to happen so that residents of the county can deliver their verdict on the out of touch administration.

Nigel Jones, Liberal Democrat MP for Cheltenham, UK, is attacked by a madman with a samurai sword. Andrew Pennington, a colleague, places himself between Jones and his assailant, but he is fatally stabbed and dies.  Jones is admitted to the hospital with minor wounds.
