Looking for a new challenge or activity after the summer? If you enjoy singing in good company, join us on Tuesday 12 September to see what we’re up to. No audition or further commitment necessary: have a sing, meet current members over a glass after - you’ll be very welcome.

One good turn deserves another, and the Stondons deserve a good audience too! Great to see so much live music on offer in Essex.

We were sorry to hear of the death of James Whitbourn, a composer whom we had the chance to work with and hear from when we first performed ‘Annelies’ in 2015 - we value the time spent with living composers and James gave a wonderful insight into this important work.

We were thrilled to be part of Chelmsford City Council Mayor's carol service Chelmsford Cathedral last night. The young dancers from Essex Dance Theatre were fantastic & it was really moving to share a number: we sang There Is No Rose as they danced beautifully through the Cathedral. What a treat!

We're back to rehearsals tomorrow evening with music by Vivaldi (Gloria) & Joanna Forbes L'Estrange (A Season to Sing) & really looking forward to getting stuck into both. Concerts always seem so far away at the start of rehearsals, but they soon come round! Why not come & try us out?
