Sad to announce death of Michael Forest age 98. Served in RAF Bomber Command. Tail gunner in Wellington, injured over Cologne in 1942.

Today, paraded RAFA Branch standard at funeral of 98-years old Michael Forest, ex-Bomber Command and veteran of 1000-bomber raid on Cologne.

-The Branch is sad to announce the death of Life Vice-President Peter Collins, CB, AFC. He was 86 and had a 34 year career in the RAF.

In his RAF career Air Vice Marshal Peter Collins commanded 111 Squadron, then RAF Gutersloh and in 1967 reformed 11 Squadron with Lightnings
