The head of MI6 FFS. Here's me thinking spies weren't supposed to draw attention to themselves. If James Bond was real he'd switch sides. 🤯

Are they just making these new things up now for a laugh? The definition of "aromantic" just sounds like the equivalent of not liking soup. Or riding a bike.

I'm going to admit it. Unlike nearly everyone else on NI X I don't know enough about the subtleties of Israel/Gaza to take sides on it. Then again, neither do they. Being a Mick/Prod seems to be enough to declare oneself an expert on middle eastern affairs.

One of the reasons I liked Starmer and am still prepared to give him a chance is that he's had a good career pre Parliament and had actually run something important. That's out of step with modern politicians running departments when they wouldn't know how to run a bath.

Saw an article in the Belfast Telegraph online today that used "fleg" in an early sentence. That deliberate misspelling remains the essence of the smugness co and snobbery that drives far too many of our pseudo radical middle class here.

I got to see the great Brian Wilson in Glasgow in 2008 or so. Fantastic show. This is one of my favourites. Maybe the only one who could reach the heights of John and Paul as a pop craftsman. youtu.be/iNKWN7h3dDA

All Gordon is guilty of is a poorly worded Facebook post, probably written in haste. He was pointing out facts, albeit he could have done so in a more victim centric way. It’s ridiculous anyone thinks this is even in the foothills of a resigning matter
