This Labor Day, we celebrate all of the American workers that have contributed to this country’s success. We also take time to appreciate the labor movement that fought (and still fights) for the conditions we have today.

Far right extremism has already made Oklahoma a state with one of the most restrictive abortion bans, shattered the lines between church and state, pushed teachers and doctors away from their profession, and more — that’s not what freedom means to me.

All walks of life were present today at Festival Amistad, it was wonderful to be in community and celebrate diversity. Thank you Carlos Ortiz for bringing community to Warr Acres and at my old high school, Putnam City!

We will never forget! 🇺🇸

LCDA stands as a beacon of hope inspiring action and unity in OKC. I enjoyed celebrating and uplifting the Latino community and this wonderful organization doing dynamic things for our city and state. It’s always great to see old friends!
