Elephants are known for their memory. They often use same corridors for movement. So if you see such signages on road; there is a story behind it. These signages are put based on historical data. Give them the way.

This morning I received review of my PhD student's work and the reviewer felt the quality of the paper can only be improved by citing his own 25 papers. The more interesting fact is he suggested review for completely different paper. Some people take review process like a joke!!

Sadly, we still default to granting more respect to men than women. 8 studies: we're >2x as likely to call male politicians, athletes, teachers, and authors by their last names. It matters: surnames signal higher status. It's long past time to use consistent standards.

Sadly, we still default to granting more respect to men than women.

One of my students said, “I think my school’s ESL program is the new version of the basement, except it’s “flooded” by new rules (oppressive policies) and the same racism.” I was like…. 😳🤯. I literally said, “whoa, that’s some deep shit.” lol class started laughing.
