Clement street was super lively tonight after hardly strictly bluegrass. I thought to myself, this is what the Richmond could feel like every day if we allowed more people to live in it.

Public reminder to myself that twitter doesn’t allow for nuance and humans like to put things into oversimplified boxes and create false binaries.

When your trip to the grocery store is the best part of your day. The bicycle takes an ordinary activity (that I would dread in a car) and makes it extra-ordinary.

Tonight at 10:31 p.m., the SFMTA Board, in a historic decision, declared Slow Lake Street to be a permanent part of San Francisco’s new Slow Streets network. It also lowered the goals to 15 mph and 1,000 cars a day.

San Francisco’s shared streets program (aka Slow Streets) has been made permanent. The success of Slow Streets is a testament to the power of grassroots community organizing, “people power,” and being principled. Thanks to all of the advocates who helped!sfchronicle.com/bayarea/articl…

Instead of pouring millions into widening I-65 — which studies show won't alleviate congestion — why not invest in high-speed rail? We can connect communities, reduce traffic, & make AL a leader in sustainable infrastructure. A train to the beach is way better than driving!🚆
