Hundreds of people protesting immigration executive orders at the Arizona State Capitol. They circled around downtown Phoenix causing gridlock for some time. State troopers are protecting the house, senate and museum buildings. We’ve also seen fireworks. 12 News

Immigration rights protesters out in Mesa rallying at Southern and Stapley. Heavy Mesa Police presence right now to make sure no one enters traffic. 12 News

Protesters were met with a line of police officers in full gear preventing them from getting on the Loop 101. They just announced this an unlawful assembly.

Police are continuing to warn protesters to get out of the road. It appears a portion of the crowd is moving back. A few dozen remain.

Officers just fired some non-lethal rounds toward protesters. They are all running back as police move forward.

Looks like there will no longer be a ‘Footprint Center’ in downtown Phoenix. The signage at the front of the arena was taken down recently, and workers tell me they’re taking the rest of the signage down today. #12News

A packed Southwest flight to Phoenix didn't make it very far when a passenger stripped naked. Other passengers tell me the woman was cursing at flight attendants and demanded to be let off the plane. 12 News

GREER FIRE: A Chinook taking off from the Springerville airport about to head toward the flames. We’re seeing a lot of aircraft today since winds have died down. 12 News

Eastbound loop 202 at Priest Drive is completely shut down from a crash involving 6 cars. 5 people injured with one suffering life threatening injuries. DPS is investigating. At this time they don’t know when it will be re-open. 12 News

Looks like DPS is having some cars actually turn around on EB 202 to head west so they can get on the Priest Drive exit.

Only a few cars left waiting to be turned around. Many have been stuck for about two hours.
