Whoop, whoop – numbers are in! A record 557 whooping cranes were counted wintering on the Texas coast, including 41 juveniles. More sightings from outside the survey area signal the iconic species is expanding its range. Learn more: fws.gov/press-release/… πŸ“Έ: Mike Croyle

I learned something at the feed store this morning. Apparently, men nod down to someone they don't know and nod up to someone they do know? And somehow, all men know this and no one ever tells them. They're just born with it.

Yeah, this approaches "shockingly weird," but for whom? "The complex provided launch and control for 30 LIM-49 Spartan anti-ballistic missiles, and 70 shorter-range Sprint anti-ballistic missiles." The pyramid held radar dishes.

Riiiiight....celebrate "Christmas", which is merely a Christianized version of Yule, the Winter Solstice and Saturnalia, as a "triumph" of the Torah over Paganism. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ Makes total sense. 🀣

Ivywild . . . in the city but not too far from the Cheyenne Creek corridor into the mountains. Still wonder why they let him go in a built-up area instead of tranquilizing and relocating.

When I was 11-13, boys built homemade go-karts powered by old lawnmower engines, called "chugs." (If it had no engine, you rolled it downhill: a "gravity chug.") Question: Was that term "chug" just a Denver-area thing, or was it used elsewhere.
