Today GTFC became the 1st business in NEL to sign up to the council’s foster friendly employer scheme supporting employees who are , or who may want to become a foster carer. GTFC are committed to supporting us on our improvement journey - the start of a beautiful partnership.

The testament to this school is in its teachers and its children. Every teacher spoke with care and pride about their children and every child we saw, smiled and said hello, chatted about their day and their achievements. The importance of relationships being lived out in NELC

In NEL, team work comes in every form. Today was the hunt for my missing race number…whilst I’m on leave everyone from the new receptionist to the Chief exec was on the hunt… and of course, in true NEL style… mission completed 👊🏽 💥. Thanks everyone 🙏🏽

“Children and families are our real boss” Today we asked ourselves 3 very important questions, shared examples of direct work&reflected on the harm caused by sexual abuse and exploitation. Ofc, in true NEL style we worked hard and played hard and injected the fun at the end 💫

Today our permanent leadership team reflected on the progress we make every day for children and how we relentlessly strive for the best outcomes. In the words of Sophie aged 4 years… “I can swim….just not quite yet” well in NEL we are outstanding, just not quite yet. 💫
