Imprisoned Azerbaijani journalist Aynur Elgunesh, editor-of-chief of Meydan TV, has won the International Women's Media Foundation 2025 Justice for Women Journalists Award for unjustly detained reporters. Authorities arrested Elgunesh and six other staff on fabricated charges in December.
