Love to see it! Michael Bennet, Lindsey Graham, Elizabeth Warren, and Senator Peter Welch, argued in a letter to Schumer that the current moment “requires a new federal agency to protect consumers, promote competition, and defend the public interest.” 💪thehill.com/policy/technol…

To all of the working parents struggling to manage the logistics of a school day that doesn’t align with the work day, release days, the expenses of before/after care… I have a story about living in a walkable neighborhood & sending your kids to the neighborhood school. 1/8

The people you choose to spend time with says a lot about what and who you value. Kudos to the new-wave agency leaders for getting out of the antitrust "bubble" and meeting w/ the people who actually bear the brunt of concentrated economic power.

Worth noting his company is currently suing the FTC over it's right to exist and to punish violations of the law. Doesn't really seem consistent with the claims of contrition. 🤷🏼‍♀️

We now have a trial date for DOJ’s adtech #monopoly lawsuit against Google in the “rocket docket” of Eastern District of Virginia. Sept 9, 2024. Six months later, on March 31, 2025, a Texas Attorney General led #antitrust adtech suit v Google will go to trial in Texas (also a rocket docket).

So frustrating to see Ticketmaster is not cooperating with the DOJ Antitrust investigation. Ensuring compliance with antitrust remedies isn't easy. In the meantime, consumers are missing our chance to have a real competitor. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

Grateful for every minute of the 446 hours I got to spend outdoors, moving and grooving with my kids. Mostly to/from school, appointments, and events - but we got to enjoy the journey.

🚨The FTC is finalizing a rule banning noncompete clauses for *all workers* regardless of income or industry. It will increase pay, new business formation, innovation -- and cut health care costs. It's one of the most important things the Biden Administration has done.

I was pleased to be able to ask Acting DDOT DC Dir. Kershbuam last night about DDOT's plans for Sherman Circle and whether DDOT is retrenching from plans to build safe bike network that DC's families can use. Watch here (sorry for the video quality!): youtu.be/QZUdIXDNzs4

1. All too often these days, a single glitch results in a system-wide outage, affecting industries from healthcare and airlines to banks and auto-dealers. Millions of people and businesses pay the price. These incidents reveal how concentration can create fragile systems.

I'm going to try to attend the ANC meeting tomorrow but it's during kiddo bedtime! I want to let the Commissioners know there's a lot of support for this project!

Commissioner Rebecca Kelly Slaughter on Bloomberg yesterday: "If the President can illegally remove me, he can illegally remove Jerome Powell... People should be very worried about that."

Key Q from Kaitlan Collins to Rebecca Kelly Slaughter: You said when you were fired, that it was because "I have a voice & he's afraid of what I'll tell the American people." What is it you have to tell us? cnn.com/2025/03/19/pol…

Excited to be heading into the office this am! Top of the to-do list: calling a vote on restoring the Click to Cancel Rule. It’s time the FTC gets back to protecting consumers from real abuses like subscription traps that cost Americans countless hours and millions of dollars.
