As a union member myself I usually support strike action even if it means I have to change travel plans or I don’t travel. But the strike by the #eurotunnel staff is unacceptable. It was not announced and many people will not be able to be with their families for Christmas.

I am very happy about my decision to leg it to Harwich and cross with Stena Line after my Eurostar was canceled yesterday. I was unsble to rebook my ticket to another train and at least I’ve now made it to the continent. Also shout out to Interrail for being so flexible!
