I feel this HARD. I did start a family during my PhD, and expanded during my postdoc, but academia categorically sets women who choose to become pregnant up to fail. It's stressful AF. I constantly have my guard up

Nov 2020 baby. No walk in baby health clinics. No face to face BF support. Turned away from 2 HV appointments being told I was making a fuss over nothing (as my 98th centile baby plummeted to 20th centile), 16 weeks finally diagnosed with 75% ant TT. Still feeding now.

#ScienceTwitter At at outreach activity, a year 3/4 kid asked me what would happen if you mixed red light with purple light? What colour would it make? (We were learning how rainbows are made) I couldn't answer, but said I would try to find out for them and let them know!
