Had an awesome weekend with my team at Scenic City! I wrapped up the tournament going 9-for-14 at the plate, finishing with a .643 batting average. Knocked in 3 doubles, a triple, drove in 8 RBIs, and crossed the plate 7 times. Loved every minute! TeamNCYates Catawba Ridge Softball

Final: Team NC Yates 14U 9, Team NC Taylor 14U 3 A 5-run 5th inning powered the win with key hits from Jackson (2B, 2 RBI), Burney (3B), Plyler, and Yates. Wilson added 2 RBI. Whitfield went 6 IP with 6 Ks and just 3 hits allowed. 11 hits total in a solid team effort.
