I need to be a bit more professional here, and a lot less terminally online!

Social media is, I feel, turning me into a profoundly bitter and unhappy person at my core. I constantly find I am weighing myself against other people I know who seem to have significantly more meaningful connections with people we know in common. I need to stop.

Honestly, I really don't like actively TRYING to make friends in my early 20s. It's definitely not that I don't want to, but every avenue now feels so forced and inhospitable to new people who don't know anybody in their area.
