I particularly loved the presentation on doing,being,becoming and belonging in forensic/justice by Charlotte French OT - I would love to introduce this more formal framework into our community forensic service. I think it would really boost the understanding of occupational therapy.

What a fantastic Friday Emma Dawson and I had presenting about our Tees, Esk & Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust Health and Justice OT service, sharing how we are translating OT theory into health and justice practice and spotlighting the role of OT in supporting prison leavers part of the Enhanced Reconnect Service!

Such a low statistic! However at HMP Durham and HMP Hull Tees, Esk & Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust have created specialist wings designed to support those with acute mental illness who are waiting for secure hospital and aims to prevent needing hospital all together with the right care at the right time!
