Had the best time at the lake district LifETIME-CDT retreat. Learned more about regulations and had #VR training on GMP and ATMP. Went canoeing, swam in the lake, roasted marshmallows. It was such a wholesome time.

#gorgewalking was such a rewarding and scary experience. Back problems can be limiting, so it was lovely we helped each other through the challenge, with expert guidance by Rod. A lot of crawling, sliding, climbing, floating involved. Didn’t say it was gracious😇LifETIME-CDT

Was happy to present my work and try to raise awareness on #osteosarcoma, at the LifETIME-CDT student day. Bone Cancer Research Trust. Collaboration is key to developing diagnostic tools and better treatments. Happy to see the progress everyone has made in their PhD. Also, spotted some new faces.

I’ve worked in A&E for 22 years & seen nothing like this before. The NHS is in a critical state. We need urgent action for sake of our staff & patients. Steve Barclay Rishi Sunak we need you to listen to those who know what’s happening. To get them to listen, pls retweet

First trip out on the crutches yesterday… Lucky to have Attenborough Reserve on the doorstep. 🧡 justgiving.com/fundraising/ad…

Our girl made us proud Bone Cancer Research Trust

Thank you Florencia. It was brilliant to see familiar faces and meet all the patients. We are so thankful you could join us, and be a part of the conversation. Giving patients a voice and letting them see what we do is key. LifETIME-CDT can grow and evolve from this conversation

Congratulations to our lifETIME Student Meenakshi Suku for winning 1st place in the 3 Minute Thesis competition on her talk about ‘Big Eaters and Engineered Heart Tissues.’

It was so brilliant to get to present at the #bonecancerconference. Thank you Bone Cancer Research Trust. Was an emotional day, but it was such an honour to hear people’s stories, and to meet so many lovely people. What a beautiful community. Was so glad to see people were interested in my research.
