Delighted to have accepted the offer from Lancashire Police for the position of police constable. To avoid a possible conflict of interest my role as a police chaplain will end in January, but the support I offer to the police family will continue.

Disappointed with myself as I didn't challenge someone when I encountered racism as a chaplain – was called a terrorist by a passerby due to my attire when attending a domestic incident. I know better and should be challenging stereotypes and promoting empathy. #EndRacism

Time is the coin of your life. It is the only coin you have, and only you can determine how it will be spent. Be careful lest you let other people spend it for you.

It's called a Christmas Tree for the Christian festival of Christmas. Multi-culturalism or inclusivity isn't the diluting of cultural or religious traditions like this, but the celebration of our diversity. Also, I can confirm the word Christmas isn't offensive to Muslims.

Hey police family!🚔 Reflecting back, what's the one piece of advice you'd give yourself on your very first day as a police constable? #FirstDayAdvice #PoliceLife

The Police Chaplaincy UK conference is in full swing. The topic this time is hope. I would love to have attended, but I'm no longer a police chaplain.#PCUKHope24
