#CHTraffic alert: give yourself extra time if your travels take you to or thru downtown via MLK tomorrow, 11/13. Contractors will mill, pave, & stripe the intersection at MLK/North/Columbia starting at 8 a.m. Traffic will be moving slower in both directions.

Yesterday, in honor of National Injury Prevention Day, we visited UNC Children's Hospital with NC_OSFM's Sparky the Fire Dog to promote injury prevention. We read Sparky's Story and had a great time raising awareness about how we can make a difference in reducing injuries.

🚧 Willow Drive is closed between S. Estes Drive and Conner Drive due to a possible water main break. Orange Water & Sewer Authority is responding and will contact affected customers.

🌳🚧 Westbound Highway 54 is closed between Manning Drive and S. Columbia Street due to two downed trees blocking the road. Drivers should use Manning Drive or S. Columbia Street to detour. #CHtraffic

Heads up! Tomorrow, June 4, expect smoky conditions during live burn training at an abandoned home on Old Durham Road. During this training, you'll likely be able to see smoke from I-40, Fordham Blvd., and surrounding areas. This training is weather-permitting.
