4. Securing field hospitals is already in progress with the first field hospital coming in the next 24hrs to be set up in Black River. These come fully equipped with operating theatres, personnel support, imaging, etc. Within the next week, more field hospitals will arrive.

The first plane carrying aid from El Salvador arrived in Jamaica last night, following the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa. In total, 3 planes will deliver relief (1 per day) bringing 300 rescuers and 50 tons of humanitarian aid. May God be with our brothers in Jamaica.
