I played (warmed the bench) on the best college lacrosse team in the country. And honestly, it wasn't a smooth ride. I went from sick, injured, and the worst player to a Most Improved award. But it changed my approach to life. Here are 8 lessons that may change you too🧵

This is a family sport for us. The greatest feeling ever to have my daughter at senior night last week and come away with 16-10 win, this little girl is going have more uncles then she’ll ever even know about. The excitement on the boys faces when they got to meet her was amazing

BREAKING: Nevada has hired former Denver goalie, TJ Wright to be their new Head Coach. He is a Reno area native (Galena HS) and played 4 years for the Pioneers, graduating in 2021

We’ve had a great boys program here at Galena for the last 18 years with 12 of those headed by Coach Al Garner! 2023 was a banner year for the boys and with that, Coach Al has been awarded High Sierra Lacrosse League Coach of the Year! Congrats Coach, you deserve it!

With 175 career wins, a fair # of championship wins, & his 4th Coach of the Year accolade, Al has decided to hang up his Galena lacrosse stick. He’s built a great program & will surely be missed but the legacy he leaves will guarantee the success of the program for years to come.
