Sarah Silverman Duncan Jones Australian here. Had a knee operation about 5 and a half years ago, with 4 half-yearly follow-up check-ups over 2 years. My out of pocket expenses - $10 to catch a taxi to the hospital. Hate to think how much it would have cost me if I lived in the US
@Johnno5311 Sarah Silverman Duncan Jones Our youngest, now 3 was born early via emergency C-section and spent a month in NICU. We were paying around $600/month for insurance premiums. Total billing was around $1,000,000. Our portion, substantially less, however we finally got him paid off when he was 2.
Darin M @Johnno5311 Sarah Silverman Duncan Jones Here in Australia, both our children were born through emergency C-Section when a twelve hour labour went bad. Had child in public hospital - cost $0. We also have private health insurance and had two weeks in a private hospital after. Also $0
