I follow a lot of news about Bitcoin vs CBDC’s. Has anyone considered that maybe we won’t all be forced to use the CBDC? What if it was a public ledger and only entitlement payments were required to use the CBDC? I’d accept additional transparency of where our taxes dollars went.

Reading about Taylor Tomlinson iterating on a joke and testing subtle changes in front of a live audience reminds me a lot of how product development feels. In her case though, getting it “right” in the end gets immediate payoff of people literally cheering for you. Love it.

Pro Tip for devs. Write unit tests around DateTime logic. Refactor code to accept a Clock via dependency injection. In your tests, use dates that are at the end of the day and last day of the month and see what happens... I'm in CST so 10pm local is 4am tomorrow in UTC.🧨
