Ms. Burn’s English IV students are completing a creative project related to the themes in the Tragedy of Macbeth using Scratch Team and Makey Makey. Amy Bennett Andrea Lilley

English IV Honors students completed their Macbeth projects with a gallery walk. Students were able to share ideas using Makey Makey and Scratch Team to explain how their chosen art reflected themes in the tragedy.

Mrs. Whitehead’s students are building popsicle bridges using a limited number of sticks. They will be testing them later this week for strength. This is in preparation for their final project of building a bridge using balsa wood.

Today, NHS English I students are participating in a Book Tasting. They are able to sample books from different genres and complete a learning menu and reflection! It’s a great way to introduce students to books they may not choose independently!

English I had such a great time at the book tasting, that English II had to come today and see what they hype was about! Even the teacher had to get in on the action!

What did you do this weekend? These amazing educators spend their Saturday morning doing Math, ELA, and Science trying to Breakout and figure out who killed the assistant superintendent. Can’t wait to see all of great lessons they designed in action 🔓 #BreakoutEDU

Ms. LaBarge’s math students learned to use Spheros today for upcoming math projects. They were able to master steering the robots and even played a game of Sphero tag! We can’t wait to see what they do next week!

Math II students are learning how to use Makey Makey for a project next week on quadratic equations.
