Today, one of our members passed their assessments for the new FutureQuals L3 Award for Ambulance Service First Responders. Thank you to Dave, Kate Fisher and the others from South Western Ambulance Service who gave up their time. Our other members from Portland will attend in September.

If you are waiting for an ambulance to arrive, please do not call back for an estimated arrival time. This could delay us answering a call about a seriously ill or injured patient. Only call back if an ambulance is no longer needed, or if the patient’s condition worsens 💚

Following on from our post in Aug both our remaining responders have passed their L3 qualification. This is even more special as one of our responders has dyslexia and was worried about the written part of but like his colleagues he put in 100%,smashed it + should be extra proud.

Apparently these mask mandates in England will be lifted on 21st December. If you’ll continue to wear a mask beyond that date, RT 💙🚨

Prime Minister, We have NHS staff crying in their cars. Desperate texts being sent because wards have NO nurses for the night shift. Operations being cancelled left, right & centre. And all you can talk about is the booming economy. Thanks a lot, NHS staff everywhere #PMQs
