The PPB budget for 2025-2026 is proposed to be $318M - which is an increase of TWELVE MILLION from the current budget. The proposed budget includes a mere $2M shift from cops to parks, which has been approved by the Portland City Council.

Portland has been rocked by police misconduct fees related to 2020 protests. The city has paid over $4.5M - $3M specifically for bodily injuries by cops. The PPB budget is at $318M, which is an ⬆️ of $12M from the current budget. That includes the $2M shift from cops to parks.
