Just finished last minute prep for World Schools Debate tomorrow at National Speech & Debate Association Nationals in Louisville and got a great pep talk from Mr. Lewis University School Speech and Debate. Nats Speech news: Grace Hoy and Eric Feucht advance to DUO octafinals - top 60 in the country.

Nats Debate news: Sophia Avery and Ali Holtz both advance in Lincoln Douglas. (Unofficially) Adam Hamdan’s North Coast Brown World Schools Debate team advances, too. All CFHS S&D attendees have advanced to break rounds!

Nats Debate news: Ali and Sophia win their first break round and will debate again tomorrow. One more tonight.

Nats Speech update: Eric Feucht and Grace Hoy advance again and are headed to quarterfinals in DUO - top 30 in the country.

Grace & Eric headed into their second Nats quarterfinal round

Hard loss for North Coast Brown as we lost our doubles round 2-1. So proud of our kids. Keeping our eyes on speaker awards to see if any Cleveland District kids will be recognized.

Grace and Eric officially ended their Speech career with that last quarterfinal. Heck of a run!

Sophia Avery has officially ended her high school Lincoln Douglas debate career, finishing in the top 20 in the country.

Ali Holtz has completed her final round of LD Debate. She finished in the top 12 in the country.

Thanks to the efforts of Ali Holtz and Sophia Avery, Chagrin Schools was once again named a Debate School of Excellence, awarded to the top 20 debate schools in the country.
