Curbside yard waste collection has resumed in Arlington. Due to heavy loads on some routes, any missed carts/bags should be left for pickup the next day. Never use plastic bags for yard waste — can't be mulched, won't be picked up. More: recycling.arlingtonva.us/guidance-on-mi….

This week, county crews begin routine maintenance work on the South George Mason Dr bridge over Four Mile Run.  Work hours are appx 7am to 7pm, M-F. If there is inclement weather, crews may also work Saturdays. Do look out for lane changes/closures, and workers in the road!
