Gianfranco Zola’s magnificent strike makes it 2-2 against Liverpool in a 4th Round F.A. Cup Tie at Stamford Bridge on 26th January 1997. In arguably the defining game of the 1990’s, Chelsea remarkably come from 2-0 down to win 4-2.

On This Day 15th April 1922, Chelsea won 1-0 against Sunderland at Stamford Bridge in a Division I fixture. Buchanan Sharp scored the only goal of the game for Chelsea in the 37th minute. The attendance was 40,000.
