Last week, in preparation for our Elementary and Middle School Summer Program, our had 3 days of professional development. Sessions included Social Emotional Learning, STEM curriculum with The NEED Project , literacy development with Reading Partners and a culinary demonstration!

Week one of our summer programs is in the books! The middle school program has STEM projects, in partnership with @ycentralmaryland @mybge @theneedproject The elementary program is ELA focused as we partner with @rpbaltimore Of course, each week ends with a field trip😎

Great to be with Child FIRST community school coordinators & staff today for a training about relational meetings & leadership.

Our summer program concluded on July 29th! Our students had a blast during four weeks of programming! A big thank you to Lillie May Carroll Jackson Charter School, The Y in Central Maryland, BGE @RPBaltimore N.E.E.D for partnering with us this summer!

In partnership with Liberty Elementary School’s PTO, Michael Afolabi, our Community School Coordinator at Liberty Elementary School, facilitated a Breakfast with Dads and Father Figures event. Over 100 fathers and father figures were in attendance!!!
