You see the next time somebody fixes their mouth to say there’s little to no ROI on sports, entertainment & culture, I shall show them this. The ROI is coming in via the support Jamaica is getting from the entire world right now. This is the intrinsic value of those industries.

FLYING HIGH, SAVING LIVES The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) Kingston received a request on Thursday October 30, 2025 that a man was marooned in the Yallahs River. The man was swept away by flood waters during the passage of Hurricane Melissa.

Spoke with a JPS lineman the other night and he told me that as he repaired our post, his house in Old Harbor was without electricity. His wife suffered a terrible panic attack during the storm and was hospitalized. He wasn’t even supposed to be at work because his wife 1/3

It's really amazing to see how many friends Jamaica have.

Some things happen just in time. After Beryl my parents in Sainty had no light for months, their neighbour actually charged them to charge their phones😡 A few months ago they got a govt solar grant and now they’re freely charging devices for all the neighbors who need it.🙏
