It was such a fun basketball filled day for our Huskies. Grades 2-4 attended the undefeated Women’s Terps Basketball game and k/1 cheered on the 5th graders as they took on the Clearspring Staff! #Terpswbb #GoHuskies

The last day before break included pajama day, (found my twin) a hot cocoa bar for staff, a visit from the @Damascus_HS marching band and the annual winter sing along! So much joy fills our building everyday, today, though, there was just a little extra! Happy Winter Break!

Thanks to Principal Levine and Ms. Slotkowski from Baker Middle for coming and spending time with our 5th graders! We know we still have a year left with them but they’re excited…and a little scared to head off to middle school.

4th grade hosted a poetry cafe today to share all of their amazing poetry work. Some special guests such as Mrs. Lopez, showed up as well to share some Poems as well.

Congratulations to the Clearspring PreK Team!!! Our Pre-K program has officially been certified as a Maryland EXCELS Quality Rating 5 Pre-K Program the HIGHEST level of quality rating assigned by the state!!

A little Art Jams Session for staff and the superintendent. We completed a 3rd grade lesson on visual texture landscapes inspired by Canadian based artist, Christa Rijneveld.

Mr. Clay, our phenomenal art teacher opens up his classroom for some creative connections for our staff after school throughout the year. Thank you Thomas Taylor for making the trek out to Damascus to spend some creative time with us.
