Under beautiful sunny skies, 28 of our Hamden CERT Members came out to honor our Military Veterans 🇺🇸 & their Families who made the ultimate sacrifice. We assisted the Hamden Veteran’s Commission with logistical support for the Annual Hamden Memorial Day Parade. ❤️🤍💙

Congratulations to our 12 Graduates from the Hamden Basic Training Class #24. 💚 We salute these dedicated individuals who've been with us for the last 8 weeks, taking the time to learn the skills to help make a difference! We are fortunate to have these dedicated folks join us!

Hamden CERT volunteered over 140 Service Hours today assisting the Hamden Chamber of Commerce with their Annual Festival & Road Race. Thank you, Team, for another great turnout & outstanding execution of the many skills that you have learned to help keep people safe. 💚

We had a great turnout this evening with 25 Hamden CERT Members attending our monthly meeting & training session. 💚We did an After-Action Discussion with details of our operations at the Hamden Festival & also prepared for our Annual Fireworks Celebration & upcoming concert.

With a great crowd, food & music, our 25 CERT Members did a great job overseeing the crowd & also helping special needs folks with cart rides to & from the park. Thank you to the Hamden Art Commission, Hamden Fire & Police Personnel for another safe & enjoyable, celebration! 💚

On July 16th 7 Members of the Hamden CERT Program volunteered their services for the Radiological Emergency Preparedness Exercise at SCSU. After receiving a briefing from the directors, our members played the part of victims of a radiological emergency. "Thank you Team!" 💚

Rather than a somber event, organizers chose to celebrate Fatman Scoop (RIP Sir.) with a livelier tribute – one that reflects his exuberance & propensity for getting the crowd to throw their hands in the air & that’s exactly how we celebrated tonight.

Hamden at work again!

We had a great turnout tonight as twenty-six of our Hamden CERT Members attended our first monthly meeting since our summer break. We reviewed all of our activations & training that took place over the summer, as we prepare for the fall activities.

13 of our Hamden CERT Members came out this evening to assist the Hamden Middle School Staff for their Open House. Our members assisted the patrons with the parking of over 400 vehicles! Thank you to our members for their outstanding coordination & communications tonight. 💚

Under sunny, autumn skies Hamden CERT Members volunteered their time to support the 25th Annual Brooksvale Fall Festival. Our members directed & helped park hundreds of vehicles during the 5-hour event. This event welcomes the fall season with food, music & fun for all.🧡

Attention, Amtrak Service is shut down due to a Locomotive on fire off of Welton Street in Hamden. Waiting on Amtrak Officials who gave a 40 minute ETA to disconnect other cars and shut down power to the involved locomotive.
