Students in Mr. Adomtis’ Law & Ethics class held a mock trial, with juniors and seniors acting as attorneys and witnesses in a wrongful death case from an obstacle race. Teams prepared for weeks, practicing examinations and crafting arguments.

During the final week of senior classes, Bioengineering students completed their LVAD heart pump projects! Teams were tasked with attaching a support pump mechanism to a pig heart. Points were awarded based on the assembly of the device, function, and flow rate through the heart.

We commemorated Founder's Day with a special Mass in honor of St. John Baptist de La Salle, with Auxiliary Bishop Mark Eckman as the celebrant. Following his homily, the Christian Brothers on Central Catholic’s campus renewed their vows in front of the student body.

This evening, we welcomed the class of 2025 into the Central Catholic Brotherhood during the Ninety-Fifth Commencement exercises! As we celebrate our newest Alumni, we send our prayers for their health, success, and enduring ties to our community!

Today, we honor the anniversary of the canonization of Saint John Baptist de La Salle, patron saint of teachers and the founder of the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools Saint John Baptist de La Salle, pray for us. Live Jesus in our hearts—forever!

This Memorial Day, Central Catholic High School honors and remembers the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. We pray that God grants them eternal rest and peace.

Join us for the final game at Alumni Hall on May 28! This showcase will feature 2025 WPIAL All-Stars, coached by Zachary Skrinjar, ’97, and Devin Crummie, ’97. At halftime, we will honor the 2008 and 2023 WPIAL Basketball Championship teams, as well as coach Chuck Crummie.

On the last day of final exams, students, parents, faculty, and staff gathered in the McGonigle Theater for Mass, in honor of the solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord.
