CP hosted Central Chamber of Commerce meeting on Wednesday at the Gurney campus. Those present included Mayor David Barrow, Congressman Garret Graves’ staff member, chamber board members, local business owners, CP administration & board members. Visitors also toured the campus.

With a doubleheader victory over the Southern Lab Kittens last weekend, the Redhawks are district champions, finishing the season undefeated in district play. CP also won over Episcopal last night 3-1. Now on to the playoffs! Congratulations Redhawks! ⚾️

The Bank of Zachary’s Redhawk Branch Ribbon Cutting was held today. This fall the Redhawk Branch will be open at the Gurney campus. 4 CP students interviewed and were selected as tellers for the branch. We are excited about this partnership with the Bank of Zachary!

Thank you to Baton Rouge Police who visited Central Private today to walk PK4 student Peyton Totty in to school. Peyton is the daughter of Catty & Shane Totty. Shane served as a BR City Police Officer & was assigned to the Motors Division. Shane passed away in an on-duty crash Feb. 1, 2019.

Yesterday, for Bring Your Bible to School Day, Coach Melancon's 8th grade students visited our Lower School campus to read Bible stories to the Pre-K and Kindergarten classes. The students enjoyed hearing Bible stories and visiting with our middle school students! 📖
