Snow leopards enjoy exploring the waterfall and rocks in their habitat & rest in the lush vegetation when they’re not active. Insider tip: the rock under the overhang at the front of the exhibit is heated, providing a comfy place for these big cats to curl up in cold weather.

Good things come in threes! We have recently welcomed a third harlequin lamb to our flock in the Tisch Children’s Zoo. Visit this trio as they run & jump around their habitat. According to keepers, the new lambs are out with the flock most of the day & have boundless energy!

Goat kids are prone to the zoomies. They have high energy levels and like to run, climb, and jump. They are also curious and enjoy exploring their surroundings. Check out our Nubian goat kids in the Tisch Children’s Zoo.

You're looking at the world’s fastest rodent! Patagonian cavies are medium-sized rodents related to Guinea pigs and capybaras, and are native to central and southern Argentina. Their long legs allow them to outrun predators, with some reaching speeds up to 40mph!

Our snow monkeys, aka Japanese macaques, live on an island in the center of the Temperate Zone that resembles their natural habitat in Japan. It includes a pool heated for their use in winter, that mimics the hot thermal springs of their native habitat.
