It’s not disordered to count the calories it only becomes disordered when you restrict yourself from consuming ‘necessary’ foods/ maintaining an extremely deficit

most of the weight loss stories I see are like yeah I didn't realize a large flavored latte and a breakfast sandwich are 1k calories so I was eating 4k calories a day while sedentary
