On 26 June 2025, CeDRI had the honour of receiving a visit from the President of IAPMEI - Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation, where it was possible to present the projects developed here and foster partnership opportunities.

On 21 June 2025, CeDRI was visited by members of the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), when the Centre's Vice-Coordinator was able to present the work and research carried out here.

On 2 July, the Applied Science Symposium for Young Researchers was held at the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo, attended by numerous academics.

We are pleased to share that last week, CeDRI researcher Felipe Gimenez participated in the 6th ACM Europe Summer School on Data Science in Ioannina, Greece, as part of the DataGEMS project.

"Frontiers of Innovation in Sustainable and Resilient Agroecosystems" was the theme of the parallel session held as part of the Science 2025 event, which took place on 11 July 2025 in Lisbon. This session, promoted by SusTEC and where CeDRI was represented by João Paulo Coelho.

During this week (July 14-18, 2025), the Summer Science event was held at IPB, where CeDRI researchers were able to encourage young scientists by demonstrating and working together in different projects, including Data Science, Image Processing and Robotics.

On 24 July 2025, CeDRI had the pleasure of welcoming Luís Marques Mendes, candidate for the Presidency of the Republic of Portugal, who was able to learn about the projects developed here and deepen his understanding of the importance of the work carried out by researchers.
