Data Centre traffic is ever-growing, which is bringing us closer to another industrial revolution😲 The sector has grown in a linear fashion, creating the largest waste stream in the world🌍 The CEDaCI aims to reduce the e-waste caused. #GreenTechSW

CEDaCI is researching methods to create a natural lifecycle - similar to how our environment works - which will allow us to evolve our Data Centre usage (and re-use!) into a circular economy♻️ The waste management hierarchy will be flipped on its head🙃 #GreenTechSW

CEDaCI brings together all sub-sectors to create an all-encompassing plan, to stop the potential of a butterfly effect when one industry changes, but impacts another🦋 It's a stakeholder engagement approach which is shaking up the way we think about DCI sustainability💚

The CEDaCI comparison tool uses LCA to assess the lifecycle of your equipment and its environmental impact, with an aim to raise awareness and increase voluntary change across the DCI🙌 #GreenTechSW

CEDaCI have even created their own Circular Server, which reduced chassis mass, component use and plastic mass significantly💚 Leading the evolution of the DCI from the front💪 #GreenTechSW
