#WildlifeWednesday #WildlifePhotography #Wildlife #Nature #NaturePhotography #Green #Heron #Pileated #Woodpecker I don’t think I’ve ever thought about 👀 a Green Heron n a Pileated Woodpecker face 2 face high up n a tree but today I saw just that. At least one’s in focus 🤷‍♂️

Three #Mallards seen from the bridge at Clove Lakes Park on Sunday morning. Still very colorful, no eclipse plumage yet. #3sDay #birdwatching #BirdsSeenIn2025

Good morning . Nice day yesterday on home watch from the veranda because of rain. Three new house ticks, c50 2 flocks of G W Pelicans, 5 Hamerkop & Abassynian Roller, that makes 35 seen. Gambia always surprises me with its variety of birds.

Quick update on my young Pallid Swift. As you can see doing well and still feeding voraciously. Plenty of wing exercise while feeding. I am hoping to try releasing this weekend. 🤞 #swift #swifts #birds #birdsseeinin2025 #birdphotography

AQUATIC WARBLER!!! Still can’t believe we caught this stunner at Carey this morning! Made it worthwhile giving it a go between weather fronts. The bird was interestingly a good weight of 15g!

My 9-year-old not only re-found the continuing saltmarsh sparrow in Tribeca’s Washington Market Park, she got an outstanding photo totally unassisted 🤯 Way to go, Delphine! #birdcpp

Arctic Warbler in NYC! Phylloscopus borealis breeds in Siberia/Alaska, winters in SE Asia—yet one turned up at Randall’s Island. A jaw-dropping vagrant & one of the rarest migration surprises you can see here.#birdcpp #birdnerd #nikonphotography
