While the extinction crisis worsens NSW Labor has continued the trend of allocating less money to the environment each year. In 2022-23 a meagre 1.73% of the entire state budget was allocated to the environment - under the Minns Labor Government this has declined to just 1.61%!

Criminally, NSW Labor continues to charge full steam ahead with its state sanctioned extinction logging across our precious public native forest estate & propping up the money haemorrhaging rogue Forestry Corporation - pushing forest dependent threatened species to extinction.

Only 50% of NSWs current threatened species are expected to survive in the next 100 years. If we are to have any hope of turning this number around we must urgently end native forest logging and begin the proper funding of species and habitat restoration.
