OUTSIDER EXCLUSIVE: The White House apologized on Thursday and expressed support for workers striking with Insider Union ✊ after it crossed the picket line by referencing a Insider story in a press release.

Today, our bargaining committee sent two letters to groups with meaningful influence on Insider: Axel Springer and KKR.

We asked them to encourage Insider to give us reasonable counters, a key move toward ending our ULP strike.

Here are the letters and their key points: (1/6)

It's day 7 of the Insider Union ✊ strike, and our parent company Axel Springer SE and KKR should be mindful of the irreparable damage that Insider's failure to provide a fair contract or bargain in good faith risks doing to Insider's newsroom.

DAY 7 of Insider Union ✊'s strike. Management did not come to the bargaining table yesterday yet sent a misleading email saying they 'remain open and available to meet with the union.'

This is unacceptable. We continue to fight for pay equity & affordable health care. ✊
