In early 2024, the OASCIV project (INSAP, UCL Institute of Archaeology, University of Leicester) excavated 4 sites in the Wadi Draa in Southern Morocco, with the season funded by the European Research Council (ERC) #EverydayIslam project 1/6
Last month members of our Leicester team, Prof David Mattingly & Nichole Sheldrick were in southern Morocco with the Oasis Civilisation project, a collaboration between School of Archaeology & Ancient History, UCL Institute of Archaeology, INSAP and the European Research Council (ERC) funded #EverydayIslam project.

Yesterday, CEAH was very pleased to host members of the EAMENA team from Oxford School of Archaeology, Durham Archaeology & School of Archaeology & Ancient History for a training workshop on a new Automated Change Detection method for monitoring heritage.
