Went to see The Mummy (99) at Cineworld Sheffield last night. Pure action adventure fun, and I love that for all the CGI, the credits list the stunt people straight after the main cast. Enough plot holes to sink the Sphinx, but who cares when there's a killer Mummy after you?

If you want to pick up my cultural history of werewolf films in ebook format, it's currently just over a fiver in this Edinburgh University Press sale. Tons of other good stuff here but I hugely recommend Laura Mee's excellent book on horror remakes, too.
