Fung shui matters – Cells care about the arrangement of their environment. In breast cancer, how proteins are arranged is predictive of prognosis. #lifetimetc23

#breastcancer is the most diagnosed female cancer. Unfortunately for many, treatment options are extremely limited. Key features of difficult to treat BC is stiffening and changes to protein arrangement; going from curly and randomly arranged to linear and organised #lifetimetc23

My work with the #LifETimeCDT is aimed towards understanding what these mechanical and structural changes mean for cancer cells. By understanding why cancer cells do so well in this environment will help to inform treatment avenues for difficult BC. #lifetimetc23
