More on Kentucky recruiting: I was told by sources — not all at/connected to UK—that almost every notable high-major transfer in the portal that hasn't committed elsewhere already has, at the very least, made contact w/ Kentucky and inquired about potentially playing for Pope.

I’d say hiring a former NBA point guard who has been coaching G League Ignite’s talent-heavy roster would be useful in recruiting.

Assuming the Hart deal gets done, that adds someone with the kind of connections you need to land high-end talent.
