Experts are not divided on this topic. The “expert” paid by the Coyotes to come up with a big number came up with a big number. Everyone else thinks the losses are pretty small.

This used to be a slip lane for drivers to make a right turn a little bit quicker. Now it’s flowering trees, gardens, benches with people socializing, protected bike lanes. 👏🏻 to BostonTransportation’s Charlotte Fleetwood, Audubon Circle is looking sublime

Feels silly that all the parking meters are free citywide on a day (marathon Monday) when the city is urgently trying to get people to NOT drive into town! It’s just a big incentive to drive and for people to think they’ll be the lucky one who finds a free spot for unlimited time

Chris Dempsey Are you aware that the design discussions about the stations required City representatives to sign strict NDAs thereby prohibiting any sort of robust public process?

The urban design around this station at Lechmere says to the public, 'We spent a billion dollars on this rail line but we want you to ride it as little as possible.' x.com/sainzcaccia/st…

Some great data on weekday commutes in this Boston Business Journal story. Traffic is back. Employers are struggling to balance incentives. It's more clear than ever that state government needs to act to better manage driving and parking policies. bizjournals.com/boston/news/20…

We are devastated to hear that a 4-year-old girl was fatally struck by the driver of a pickup truck in Fort Point yesterday. Children deserve to be safe on our streets.

🔽. Our city is definitely advancing plans for safer roads as councilor ⁦Etel Haxhiaj (ha-jee-eye)⁩ has long been in favor of - I hope that anyone who hasn’t seen the presentation will watch and that those that voted to pause will rethink their vote! Let’s go! youtube.com/watch?v=JQTuW2…

“We have some of the worst traffic in the entire country - and one of the prime reasons that we have such bad traffic is because historically, we have allowed or even encouraged large developers…to build enormous parking garages,” Ewen-Campen said.
