Got the 2026 offseason pro group dialed, racking up our first set of retests with massive improvements already. It’s easy to forget how few people in the field actually follow the test-retest model to find out if they actually made the athletes better. Certified good idea.

Another reason any adjustment needs to be tied to the hitter's batted ball profile Keeping adjustments tied to outcomes minimizes the risk of negative adaptations “A swing flaw is only a flaw if it creates an issue - if not, it's not a bug & may in fact be a feature” JP Fasone

The fact that the idea of “swinging the bat faster is better” is considered new age analytical thinking is insane. Gaining speed/power/force production has been beneficial for every athlete in every sport since the beginning of time. Pitchers who throw harder have higher

Worthwhile to have this in mind when considering when to apply "A-swing vs. B-swing" in-game. For an example of what this looks like for an individual player, consider the bifurcated bat speed plot of Steven Kwan (via Brandon Dim): x.com/BrandonDim24/s…

Its become abundantly clear to me that a great training partner/training group is exponentially more valuable than any programming decision or piece of training equipment. You should organize the majority of your training around this.
