You'd never guess from looking at me now, but I used to do a lot of intense stuff. The fact that I'm soft and snuggly nowadays is a *deliberate* choice, though. After experiencing the realities of war & conflict (even from the distance of a carrier), I'd rather stay cuddly.

I have seen a few people using the term, but what does "ego death" mean? Is it similar to an NDE? That's the only time I can recall a somewhat 'out of body' experience with visions and stuff. I was still aware I was...'me' - but like... separated from concerns of mortality.
